According to VEC, out of the total 16 bidding packages of the entire project, 14 have been completed, and 2 packages are being urgently implemented: XL-NG51 (National Highway 51 intersection) and J3-1 (Phuoc Khanh bridge).
Specifically, the XL-NG51 contract package, for the construction of the National Highway 51 interchange, has achieved over 49% of the contracted volume. However, this package is still 23% behind schedule due to land acquisition issues along approximately 300 meters connecting to the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway. This is a supplementary contract package approved to connect the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway with the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway.
With package J3-1, the construction of Phuoc Khanh Bridge (3km long) officially commenced in late April 2025. To date, the construction volume of this package has reached over 11%. The contractor is adjusting the construction organization methods to accelerate progress in the coming period.

Currently, the construction of the remaining two packages of the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway Project is also facing difficulties regarding the supply of construction materials. Although the remaining volume is not large, the limited supply capacity in some areas is affecting the progress of the two packages.
The Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway has a total length of nearly 58km, passing through the provinces of Dong Nai , Tay Ninh, and Ho Chi Minh City. Of this, the section through Dong Nai province is nearly 29km long. The route has a complete 4-lane design, with plans to expand it to 8 lanes, a design speed of 100km/h, and a total investment of over 29.5 trillion VND.
In early 2025 and April 2025, three sections of the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway Project, totaling over 28km in length, were opened to traffic and put into operation. According to the plan, the entire project will be completed and put into operation simultaneously in 2026.
