Opening of Dong Nai Province Friendship Culture - Sports Week 2025

(DN) - On October 30, at the Dong Nai Provincial Convention Center (Tan Trieu Ward), the Dong Nai Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations held the opening ceremony of the Dong Nai Provincial Friendship Culture - Sports Week 2025.

Speaking at the program, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairwoman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang welcomed the delegates to attend the Dong Nai Province Cultural - Sports Friendship Week 2025. At the same time, she said that Dong Nai province is a land rich in historical traditions, dynamic in socio-economic development and always attaches importance to expanding friendly relations and international cooperation. In recent years, the province has promoted cultural, sports and people-to-people exchange activities, thereby contributing to strengthening solidarity and enhancing mutual understanding between Dong Nai people and people of friendly and partner countries.

The 2025 Dong Nai Province Friendship Culture - Sports Week is an opportunity to look back at the good results in the cooperative relationship between Dong Nai province and organizations, localities and international partners; introduce to domestic and foreign friends the image of a dynamic, friendly, affectionate and integrated Dong Nai, contributing to spreading the message: "Dong Nai - A friendly, cooperative and developing destination".

At the opening ceremony, foreign non-governmental organizations, foreign associations, and FDI enterprises presented social security sponsorship worth nearly VND4 billion to schools, agencies, units, and localities in Dong Nai.

According to Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations Nguyen Thanh Tri, the event was coordinated by the Dong Nai Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations and other units from October 30 to November 3, 2025.

Many activities were organized for people to participate, such as: Photo exhibition about countries (from October 30 to November 3, 2025, at Dong Nai Provincial Convention Center); organizing friendship tree planting at Tran Bien Temple of Literature and sports exchanges at the Provincial Sports Gymnasium (October 30 and 31); the 6th Dong Nai Provincial Friendship Melody Festival (October 31, at Dong Nai Provincial Convention Center); cultural and sports exchanges between Consulates General of countries in Ho Chi Minh City and the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations (November 1, at Lac Hong University)...

In addition, the Organizing Committee also carried out professional activities, including the Vietnam - Cambodia friendship exchange (November 2, at Buu Long Tourist Area); training and updating knowledge on the world and regional situation, the Party's policies on current people-to-people foreign affairs to cadres, civil servants, public employees at all levels and the people (November 3, at Dong Nai Provincial Convention Center and Buu Long Tourist Area)...
