On the evening of October 30th, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam Children's Protection Fund (VCP Fund) organized a conference to express gratitude to generous donors in 2025.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Dinh Tien Hai – Director of the Vietnam Children's Protection Fund – emphasized: Meeting and expressing gratitude to generous donors is an activity maintained by the Board of Trustees of the Vietnam Children's Protection Fund since 2013 to acknowledge the contributions of sponsors in the care and protection of children; and to highly appreciate the generosity of sponsors and exemplary businesses that have trusted and partnered with the Vietnam Children's Protection Fund.
At the conference, the Director of the Vietnam Children's Protection Fund expressed gratitude to the sponsors for their efforts in overcoming difficulties, maintaining production and business, and contributing to society. The charitable activities of the sponsors have helped to share the burden with the state budget, alleviate the hardships of many children in remote areas, and bring joy to children with special and difficult circumstances.
As of October 30, 2025, the Vietnam Children's Protection Fund had raised nearly 76 billion VND, maintained cooperation with nearly 60 traditional sponsors, and developed 15 new sponsors both domestically and internationally.
The Vietnam Children's Protection Fund has supported over 73,000 children with various initiatives such as: healthcare and nutrition support; education support; development and participation support; and other support including children affected by epidemics, natural disasters, floods, and accidents; children suffering from serious illnesses; eliminating temporary housing; and building bridges, etc.
To achieve the planned targets and assigned tasks in 2025 and subsequent years, the Fund urgently needs the cooperation, contributions, support, and partnership of its sponsors.
Therefore, the Vietnam Children's Protection Fund hopes that donors will pay more attention to the Fund's activities, continue to support and provide resources for the Fund to implement activities to support children in special and difficult circumstances such as: Medical support: supporting treatment costs for children with serious illnesses or diseases with high treatment costs; providing nutrition and micronutrients for ethnic minority children, children in remote and disadvantaged areas.
In addition, there is support for education: providing scholarships, long-term sponsorship, talent development support, transportation assistance, learning materials support, building schools, boarding facilities, and daycare centers for children in remote and disadvantaged areas.
The fund will continue to mobilize resources to protect children, build bridges for the community, clean water facilities, mitigate the consequences of natural disasters/accidents, and teach life skills to children…
