Phan Tuan Dung won a Silver Medal at the Asian Physics Olympiad.

On the afternoon of May 25th, at Noi Bai International Airport, the Department of Education and Training, in coordination with Hung Vuong Specialized High School, organized a welcoming ceremony for Phan Tuan Dung, a 12th-grade student specializing in Physics, returning from Busan (South Korea) after his outstanding achievement of winning a Silver Medal at the 26th Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO 2026).

This year's Asian Physics Olympiad saw the participation of 28 delegations from 27 countries and territories. The Vietnamese team consisted of 8 students, and all 8 won medals. Phan Tuan Dung, the only student from Phu Tho province on the national team, excelled and won a Silver Medal, continuing the tradition of high achievements of students from Hung Vuong Specialized High School in international and regional competitions.

Previously, Phan Tuan Dung also excelled, winning first prize in the national Physics competition and a Silver Medal at the 2025 Nordic-Baltic Physics Olympiad. His achievements are not only a source of pride for his family and school but also affirm the quality of the province's advanced education. This also serves as a motivation and inspiration for students throughout the province to continue striving in their studies and conquering international intellectual arenas.
