On this occasion, the delegation presented gifts of necessities and household items to Border Guard officers and soldiers and local people; a 3,000-liter water tank to Doi Moi Border Control Station, with a total value of more than 10 million VND.
Doi Moi Island is the farthest island in the Pirate archipelago, about 20km from the center of Tien Hai commune, about 40km from Phu Quoc. There is no national grid electricity, no fresh water, unstable phone signal and only Tien Hai Border Control Station is stationed and there is 1 household living there.
