Selection process for provincial-level science and technology projects.

On the afternoon of October 30th, the Department of Science and Technology of An Giang province held a meeting of the Advisory Council for selecting provincial-level science and technology projects.

Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of An Giang province, Le Quoc Cuong, spoke at the meeting.

The meeting announced Decision No. 171/QD-SKHCN, dated October 21, 2025, of the Department of Science and Technology establishing the Advisory Council for selecting and implementing the provincial-level science and technology task "Management and Development of the Ha Tien Dried Shrimp Collective Trademark" under the Intellectual Property Development Program, to be implemented from 2025. Mr. Le Quoc Cuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of An Giang province, chaired the council.

The Provincial Science and Technology Selection Advisory Council assessed that the research and proposed solutions for managing and developing the Ha Tien Dried Shrimp collective trademark have practical significance and are consistent with the local socio -economic development orientation; and unanimously approved the implementation of the provincial-level science and technology task "Management and Development of the Ha Tien Dried Shrimp Collective Trademark" by Can Tho University.
