The "Great Unity of Ethnic Groups - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" Week in 2025 is expected to take place from November 18 to 23, 2025 at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism (Doai Phuong, Hanoi).

The purpose of organizing the "Great National Unity - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" Week in 2025 is to contribute to preserving, promoting and spreading the tradition of great national unity; honoring the rich cultural heritage of Vietnamese ethnic groups; organizing practical and meaningful cultural, sports and tourism exchange activities to celebrate Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23). At the same time, affirming the spirit of great national unity as a precious cultural heritage, forged through thousands of years of history of building and defending the country, demonstrating the lasting value of the close bond between ethnic groups in the cause of building, protecting and developing the Fatherland, especially in the current period of industrialization and modernization of the country.

Through activities of experiencing traditional culture in real life with cultural subjects, exchanging ethnic cuisine ... vividly and attractively introducing traditional cultural values ​​of Vietnam to international friends, strengthening friendly relations, demonstrating hospitality, helping international friends deeply understand Vietnamese culture; affirming the richness, diversity and unity of Vietnamese cultural identity in the context of international integration, contributing to strengthening national pride and raising community awareness of the role in preserving and promoting the value of cultural heritage in the context of international integration.

In addition, it spreads and promotes national cultural identity, preserves, promotes and honors the unique cultural identity of 54 ethnic groups; promotes the conservation and promotion of cultural heritage of ethnic groups, encourages the active participation of the community in transmitting, creating and applying traditional cultural values ​​to contemporary life, contributing to building an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity.

At the same time, strengthen the connection and close coordination between localities and relevant units in preserving, maintaining and promoting the values ​​of national cultural heritage; step up the promotion, advertising and development of tourism at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village, as well as in participating localities to attract domestic and international tourists, promote local socio -economy and contribute to promoting the image of Vietnam to domestic and international friends.

The "Great Unity of Ethnic Groups - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" Week in 2025 is expected to have the participation of more than 200 people of 18 ethnic groups (including Tay, Nung, Dao, Mong, Muong, Lao, Thai, Kho Mu, Ta Oi, Ba Na, Co Tu, Xo Dang, Gia Rai, Raglai, E De, Khmer, Kinh, Cham Balamon) from 12 localities where people participate in daily activities at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village and coordinate to organize the event.

Specifically: More than 100 compatriots from 16 ethnic groups are active daily at the Cultural Villages of the localities (Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Phu Tho, Son La, Hue, Gia Lai, Quang Ngai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Can Tho). Mobilizing 25 Cham Brahmin ethnic compatriots from Khanh Hoa province; 30 Kinh, Khmer ethnic compatriots from Vinh Long province to participate in the event.
