On the morning of October 30, Secretary of the Dien Ban Bac Ward Party Committee Nguyen Manh Hung said that due to the isolated terrain of Xuan Diem residential area, the population is scattered, making access quite difficult, only the canoes of soldiers from the City Military Command can access.

By 11am this morning, rescue forces had evacuated more than 100 households to safe areas, including many cases of serious illness such as stroke, bedridden...

Xuan Diem block has about 260 households, all houses are heavily flooded and isolated for many days.

On the night of October 29, the local Civil Defense Command received a report that the floodwaters in Xuan Diem block were rising at a very fast rate. The locality immediately dispatched forces to the rescue scene and contacted the Da Nang City Military Command to support canoes to evacuate people.

On the night of October 29, with the coordination of the local disaster prevention and control team, 4 canoes of the Da Nang City Military Command quickly approached Xuan Diem block, moving people to safety.

It is expected that by this afternoon (October 30), the locality will completely complete the evacuation of people here.
