The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that the development of heavy rain in the Central provinces is still very complicated due to the increased activity of cold air, combined with East wind disturbances and windward terrain.
The focus of this heavy rain is concentrated from Nghe An to North Quang Tri (the old Quang Binh area), then the rain tends to spread back to Quang Ngai. Experts say that although the intensity is not as extreme as the rain on October 26-29, because the rain has lasted for many days before, the risk of flooding, landslides and flash floods is still very high.
