After a day of competing in the pouring rain, surpassing strong opponents, golfer Ho Khac Luan was crowned champion with a total score of +1, receiving a prize of 50 million VND. “Today was really a big challenge, both in terms of weather and competition mentality. But I just tried to focus on each shot, stay calm and stick to the original plan,” golfer Ho Khac Luan shared after the championship.
Ho Khac Luan marked an important milestone in his personal career – winning the championship for the first time in a professional tournament in the VGA Development Tour system. Nguyen Huu Quyet, the golfer who led the majority of the tournament, finished with a total score of +3, accepting the 3rd place, 1 stroke behind runner-up Joel Troy.
In addition to the exciting competitions, the tournament spread with an emotional activity called “Birdie for Hue ” – where each good shot not only brings points, but also turns into an act of love towards the beloved Central region.
