The delegation directly visited two households of members of the Hoi An Boating Union (Hoi An Ward Union). During the recent flood, their houses were deeply inundated, many properties were severely damaged, and their lives were seriously affected.

At the visits, Vice President of the City Labor Federation Ho Thi Lan Huong deeply shared the losses that union members and their families suffered; encouraged households to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Ms. Huong also requested the Hoi An Ward Union to continue to closely monitor the situation of union members and workers, in order to promptly provide appropriate support, so that no one is left behind in natural disasters.

According to information from the Hoi An Ward Union, this flood has caused 10 union members to suffer heavy losses. However, currently, only 2 cases have been reached because the area is isolated and the water has not completely receded. The City Labor Federation has authorized the Ward Union to continue to visit and provide support as soon as conditions allow.
