After the historic flood in Hue that lasted for nearly a week at the end of October, many houses, shops, agencies and offices in the area were deeply submerged. Many families suffered heavy property damage. In particular, a large number of motorbikes, cars, electrical, electronic and refrigeration equipment were damaged by the flood.

Hue Industrial College has launched the program "Free repair of Electrical - Electronic - Refrigeration equipment" for equipment damaged by floods (no replacement). The program continues the school's free motorbike repair activities, aiming to join hands to help Hue people overcome difficulties soon.

Repair reception time is from 9:00 a.m. Saturday, November 1, 2025 to 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 3, 2025, at Hue Industrial College, No. 70 Nguyen Hue, Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City. In addition, the school also organizes mobile repair support for single-parent households and policy families in Hue City.

According to the leaders of Hue Industrial College, the school continues to maintain and organize community support activities after the flood, such as: Giving essential necessities: rice, instant noodles, clean water, milk, warm blankets, raincoats, flashlights...; distributing medicine, consulting on preventive medicine , disease prevention after the flood to about 500 households; giving financial support gifts to some severely damaged households, disadvantaged students with about 100 - 200 gifts. In particular, during this major flood, the school organized free repair support for motorbikes and electric bicycles, with an expected number of 500 - 1,000 gifts; free repair of water-damaged household appliances (rice cookers, pumps, electric fans, electric stoves, refrigerators, washing machines...), with an expected number of 400 - 1,000 devices. In addition, the school will arrange a group of skilled engineers and students to participate in mobile repairs at single-parent households and policy families with a total number of about 50 households.
