My TV, which I bought just over a year ago, has not turned on for a few days. I took it to the technician to check and he said the circuit was damp and had to dry it and replace the components.”

Similarly, Ms. Thu Hang (Thanh Sen ward) also complained about her dishwasher suddenly "going on strike" during the humid days. "Yesterday, when I plugged it in, it didn't work. I called a technician to check it but couldn't fix it at home and had to take it to the repair shop because the circuit board was broken" - Ms. Hang said.

These days, many electronics repair shops have also recorded an increase in the number of customers bringing devices in for inspection, repair or home repair, electricians work tirelessly. In addition to repairing at the shop, we also go to homes to check and handle because many large devices are difficult to move."

Mr. Nguyen Tuan Linh recommends that when the humidity is too high, the floor or wall will have a prolonged state of water stagnation. Therefore, when using, it is necessary to place electronic devices in a high, dry, airy place, avoid placing them close to the wall or under the floor because this area has high humidity, making it easy for water vapor to penetrate the internal components. It is best to use a dehumidifier or turn on the air conditioner in dehumidification mode if possible. In addition, electrical and electronic devices should be operated regularly to generate heat, avoid moisture accumulation, and reduce the risk of damage.

Electrical and electronic equipment is easily damaged and has a reduced lifespan due to humid weather.

Spaces under ^15m2 should buy a dehumidifier with a capacity of 6-10 liters/day; from ^15-25m2 should choose a machine with a capacity of 10-20 liters/day; from ^30-40m2 should choose a machine with a capacity of 20-25 liters/day; larger spaces should use a machine with a capacity of over 30 liters/day.
