Hanoi audiences join hands in sharing with "Vietnamese Family Shelter": Nearly 1.5 billion VND donated to orphaned children.

After completing an emotional filming session in Phu Xuyen commune, Hanoi, the "Vietnamese Family Shelter" program, in collaboration with Hoa Sen Home Building Materials & Interior Decoration Supermarket System (Hoa Sen Group) and Hoa Sen Plastic Pipes – Leading the Source of Happiness, has donated over 1.5 billion VND to 18 underprivileged children.

The "Vietnamese Family Shelter" program recently completed a three-day filming session (November 7-9, 2025) in Phu Xuyen commune, Hanoi . With the mission of "Sharing happiness with the community," the program distributed over 1.5 billion VND to 18 families facing extreme hardship, the majority of whom are orphaned children striving to overcome their challenges in life.

Among the prizes, 595 million VND was directly awarded to the beneficiaries by the sponsor , Hoa Sen Group . In addition, a large number of viewers from Hanoi and neighboring provinces, philanthropists, and artists participating in the program contributed nearly 1 billion VND, helping to provide motivation and hope for those in need.

The filming in Hanoi consisted of 6 episodes, hosted by MCs Duong Hong Phuc, Thanh Trung, My Van, and Huynh Lap. The program featured a lineup of guest artists including: singer Ha Le, actor Ha Viet Dung, singer Bui Le Man, Miss Ngoc Han, athlete Do Kim Phuc, actress Dieu Nhi, director Kien Ung, traditional singer Kieu Anh, actress Quynh Kool, singer Huy R, actor Long Vu, and Miss Truc Linh.

Taking on the role of host for the first time, MC My Van said she felt honored, proud, and extremely happy to be a part of "Vietnamese Family Home." With her warm and sincere demeanor, the female MC successfully fulfilled her role of connecting, listening, and empathizing with the tearful stories of the characters. She continuously offered words of encouragement and motivation to the children to overcome adversity, strive in their studies, and change their lives in a more positive direction.

In addition, one of the special guests at the Hanoi filming session, freestyle football athlete Do Kim Phuc, brought many special emotions to the audience. Right from the start, he impressed with his skillful ball-juggling performance and an impromptu collaboration with Miss Vietnam Ngoc Han, helping her perform a sophisticated artistic ball spin. With his cheerful, humorous, and approachable spirit, Do Kim Phuc transmitted positive energy to the audience in the capital city.

However, during the interaction with the participants, the male athlete was deeply moved by the stories of loss and deprivation, both material and emotional, experienced by the orphaned children. He not only shared words of encouragement but also directly assisted them in the program's challenges, helping them win valuable prizes from Hoa Sen Group. Furthermore, Do Kim Phuc donated nearly 30 million VND from his own pocket to support the three children featured in his episode.

In addition, guests such as Ha Viet Dung, Kien Ung, Kieu Anh, Quynh Kool, Huy R, Truc Linh, etc., also expressed deep empathy for the circumstances of the characters. The artists continuously gave warm hugs, offered sincere encouragement, and presented many meaningful gifts to the children. Together with the program's crew and a large audience in Hanoi, the artists jointly raised hundreds of millions of VND to send to families in extremely difficult circumstances.

The "Vietnamese Family Home" program airs at 7:30 PM every Friday on HTV7. The program is produced by Bee Media Company in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City Radio and Television Station , with the support of Hoa Sen Home Building Materials & Interior Design Supermarket System (Hoa Sen Group) and Hoa Sen Plastic Pipes – Leading the Source of Happiness.
