The Provincial Cooperative Union has sent a report to the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to consider supporting the cooperative to overcome the damage so that it can soon resume production and business.

Not only the cooperatives suffered losses, many members' houses also collapsed and had their roofs blown off... Promoting the spirit of "The rich help the poor", many cooperatives allocated their unit funds to provide initial support to members.

A typical example is the Hoa Phong Agricultural Service Business Cooperative (Tay Hoa commune) which has just supported 3 members who suffered heavy losses. Of these, 2 members had their houses damaged by strong winds and fallen trees, and 1 member was injured and hospitalized. Mr. Nguyen Van Dong, Director of this Cooperative, said: "Although the amount of support is not large (1.5 million VND/3 people), this is the heart and concern of the Cooperative for its members. The Cooperative is continuing to call on members to actively contribute to support members who are facing more difficulties."
