Dong Xuan Commune suddenly rewards brave young man who saved people in flood

Dong Xuan Commune People's Committee has just organized an extraordinary reward for Mr. Ho Tan Duc (born 2004, residing in Long My village) for his brave action in saving two people trapped by floodwaters swept away by storm No. 13.

Earlier, on the evening of November 6th, when typhoon number 13 made landfall, Mr. Nguyen Huu Duoc (born in 1972, from Dak Lak ) and a driver were driving a 5-seater car traveling in the direction of Dak Lak - Gia Lai.

Upon reaching the Ho Chong bridge area (Dong Xuan commune), the rising, fast-flowing floodwaters swept the car into the river. The two people inside were fortunate enough to cling to a nearby bamboo thicket, shouting for help in the darkness and heavy rain.

The leaders of Dong Xuan commune presented a certificate of commendation to Mr. Ho Tan Duc.

At that moment, Mr. Ho Tan Duc did not hesitate to cooperate with the authorities and local people, jumping into the raging water to approach and assist in bringing the victim to shore.

Presenting a certificate of commendation and praising the courageous spirit of Mr. Ho Tan Duc, the leaders of Dong Xuan commune acknowledged his beautiful and humane act, contributing to spreading the spirit of mutual support and readiness to help those in need during natural disasters.
