Permanent Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh chaired the meeting of the Organizing Committee for the Happy Vietnam Festival - Happy Fest 2025.
The Vietnam Happy Fest 2025, organized by the Department of Grassroots Information and External Information, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with relevant units, is expected to take place over three days in December 2025 at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, Hanoi .
The festival's overall theme is "The Path to Happiness," offering many meaningful experiences. The "Path to Happiness" consists of a series of 14 activities, starting from Le Thai To Street, continuing to Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Hang Khay Street, and ending at the stage in Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square.
As part of the Vietnam Happy Fest 2025, a series of unique experiential activities will take place in the pedestrian area around Hoan Kiem Lake (Hanoi), offering the public a colorful journey towards happiness.
Director of the Department of Grassroots Information and External Information Pham Anh Tuan reported on the progress of preparations for the Festival.
The first highlight is the "Happiness in Every Moment" screening room, where viewers can experience happiness from simple stories in life. On the "Path to Happiness," outstanding photographs from the Happy Vietnam Awards are displayed, depicting happiness from various perspectives – from the warmth of family life to creative passions.
Visitors can preserve memories at the digital photo booth, express their wishes through the "Send Happiness to Tomorrow" activity, or hang messages on the "Tree of Happiness"—a symbol connecting simple joys. The brand's display and interactive booths also contribute to spreading the spirit of creativity and community values.
In addition, the thematic workshop "Happiness" and the "Lens of Happiness" space will bring together many speakers and photographers from Vietnam and abroad to share their perspectives, experiences, and journeys in finding happiness through art.
One of the highlights is the "More Than Love" program, featuring a mass wedding ceremony for 80 couples. The event also includes the "Sharing Happiness" blood donation drive, the Vietnam Happy Concert 2025 art performance, and will conclude with a ceremony to light up happiness, spreading the message of "Happy Vietnam" to international friends.

At the meeting, representatives from the organizing unit presented a detailed report on the plan for organizing programs and events at the Vietnam Happy Fest 2025. Representatives from relevant units also spoke, clarifying the tasks related to the preparation for the festival.
After listening to the opinions and concluding the meeting, Permanent Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh requested the Departments of Grassroots Information and External Information, along with related units, to coordinate closely and make thorough preparations for the Vietnam Happy Fest 2025.
The opening ceremony should be impressive and have a highlight. Besides the main activities at the event, the evening activities should be uniquely designed, attractive, and create a widespread impact, attracting a large number of locals and tourists to participate.

The Permanent Deputy Minister noted that the activities at the Happy Vietnam Day should contribute to demonstrating to the world that Vietnam is a happy country and that the Vietnamese people are always happy with that.
In addition, the festival helps each Vietnamese person to feel their own happiness, to realize that they are happy, and at the same time to demonstrate the way and path to happiness.
Regarding the artistic program, the Deputy Minister requested that the performances should exude a cheerful, positive spirit, full of happy emotions.
The units need to coordinate smoothly, proactively, and promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles during the implementation process.
Permanent Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh also requested that the Vietnam Happy Fest 2025 be well organized, creating a foundation to gradually transform the event into an international brand, contributing to spreading Vietnam's message of happiness to the world. This will attract international tourists to Vietnam to experience happiness, while also contributing to building Hanoi into a "Happy City".
