In the first 10 months of 2025, the province's total retail sales of goods and service revenue is estimated at VND 244,794 billion, reaching 101.38% of the plan. Of which, retail sales of goods are estimated at VND 159,893 billion, up 15.27% over the same period; consumer service revenue is estimated at VND 84,901 billion, up 27.11% over the same period.
In addition, the province's import and export situation continues to be stable, with some good export items such as seafood, aquatic products, vegetables, leather and footwear... The cumulative value in the first 10 months of the year reached 2,419 million USD, up 9.41% over the same period; of which, exports reached 1,887 million USD, up 10.65%, reaching 84.61% of the yearly plan; imports reached 532 million USD, up 5.22%.
In the structure of export goods, agricultural products reached 281 million USD, down 31.61% (rice export turnover decreased); aquatic products reached 312.7 million USD, up 43.28%; vegetables and fruits reached 78 million USD, up 19.10%; seafood 194.5 million USD, up 7.11%...
In particular, tourism is considered a bright spot in the economic picture of An Giang province. In the first 10 months of 2025, the province welcomed nearly 21.4 million tourists, up 21.7% over the same period, exceeding the annual plan by 1.5%. Of which, international visitors were estimated at 1,387,254, up 65.7% over the same period, exceeding the annual plan by 13.1%. Total revenue from tourism was VND 56,056 billion, reaching 78.2% of the plan.
Explaining why the number of domestic and international tourists to An Giang has recovered and grown rapidly, according to An Giang Statistics, after merging administrative units, the province has the potential to develop tourism, when owning hundreds of unique and diverse cultural festivals. An Giang has become a large area converging diverse resources from plains, seas, islands, mountains, forests, borders to the inland rivers of the Mekong Delta; expanding natural areas and having many places with famous tourism products such as: Phu Quoc; Ha Tien; Cam Mountain; U Minh Thuong National Park...
Along with that, many new destinations have been invested in, the technical facilities and infrastructure serving tourism have been significantly improved...
