Two explosive shows, spreading strongly on the media
Two concerts within the framework of G-Dragon's global tour Übermensch taking place in Hung Yen on November 8 and 9 have turned Vietnam into the center of attention for Kpop fans.
Immediately after the show ended, images and videos from the show spread at a dizzying speed on TikTok, X (Twitter) and Instagram, attracting millions of views and tens of thousands of comments.
Hit songs like Power, Home Sweet Home, Crooked, Heartbreaker... were performed by G-Dragon with a strong style, natural interaction and full of improvisation. The moments when he interacted with fans, laughed backstage or bowed to the audience became the center of attention, creating a great spreading effect.

After the show, G-Dragon shared photos of Vietnamese fans on his personal page with more than 24 million followers, expressing his gratitude and being touched by the audience's enthusiasm. His team also sent a special thank you to Vietnamese fans.
Before Vietnam, G-Dragon's global tour Übermensch was sold out in many countries such as Japan, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, France, the US and Australia.
Influential global icon
G-Dragon (born 1988) is a leading Korean singer, songwriter, music producer, and leader of BIGBANG - a global icon of Kpop (Korean youth music). Since he was a student, he has interned at two major entertainment companies, YG Entertainment and SM Entertainment.
The male artist is considered one of the top copyright earners in Korea, earning nearly 1.4 million USD/year from his compositions. Forbes Asia magazine once included him in the list of “30 most influential people under 30 in Asia” in the entertainment industry.
American singer Grimes, ex-girlfriend of billionaire Elon Musk, once praised: “G-Dragon is an icon. His influence on me in music is immeasurable.”

Not only an artist, G-Dragon is also a leading fashion icon in Asia. He regularly attends fashion weeks in Paris (France), Milan (Italy), Seoul (Korea), and collaborates with luxury brands such as Chanel, Nike, and Louis Vuitton.
The products he touched, from the Nike x PEACEMINUSONE Para-noise shoes to the hair-hiding scarf style, quickly became global trends.
Style, music and difference
Throughout nearly two decades of pursuing a music career, G-Dragon has maintained his popularity thanks to his pioneering music and unique personal style.
Famous songs like Haru Haru, Fantastic Baby, Heartbreaker or recently Power by him and the group BIGBANG all have their own mark, both popular and experimental, creating an unmistakable "G-Dragon color".
His music reaches many generations of audiences, from 8X, 9X to Alpha generation (generation born after 2010), thanks to the combination of artistic personality and market sensitivity.
G-Dragon is not only a singer, but also an entrepreneur and cultural creator. The brand PEACEMINUSONE he founded has become a lifestyle statement, combining street art and free spirit.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, G-Dragon currently owns assets estimated at nearly 60 million USD, including a penthouse worth 8 million USD at Nine One Hannam, Seoul (South Korea), a supercar worth tens of billions of VND and a "black card" that only 0.05% of the Korean population holds.
From “self-produced idol” to Korean cultural icon
According to Naver, G-Dragon is the pioneer artist who defined the concept of “self-producing idol” - someone who directly participates in composing, producing, directing his image and personal brand. He is a permanent member of the Korea Music Copyright Association (KOMCA).
In late October, G-Dragon was awarded the Korean Cultural Medal - a noble award for individuals with outstanding contributions to promoting the Hallyu wave (Korean wave).
He is also the Ambassador for the APEC 2025 Summit, and the only Kpop artist to perform at the reception for the leaders of 21 member countries - a milestone affirming the international position of the "Kpop king".
Last June, G-Dragon donated 880 million won (nearly 18 billion VND) to support a fund to support alcohol treatment for teenagers in Korea. The famous singer shared his wish that donations, no matter how big or small, will become the beginning of a culture of sharing that everyone can participate in.

“G-Dragon has always stood out from the crowd. His creativity in music, fashion and art has made him unique and a multifaceted cultural icon.
G-Dragon's recent moves are probably his own decisions, as an artist of G-Dragon's stature usually has a stronger say in his management company's future activities," an official in charge of arts management in Korea shared.
Talking about his successful career path, G-Dragon confided: “Before, I was always obsessed with perfection. Now, I have found a balance between work and life, and have more freedom.”
When asked about his views on being a true artist, the “King of Kpop” said: “In the end, whether you are good or not, if you are going to do something, first of all, you have to do it right. What I have lost in the past 10 years is time, but I have also become wiser. Now, I want to prepare for a new start.”
