The two nights of performances were explosive and spread rapidly through the media.
Two concerts held in Hung Yen on November 8th and 9th as part of G-Dragon's Übermensch global tour transformed Vietnam into a focal point of attention for Kpop fans.
Immediately after the show ended, images and videos from the program spread like wildfire on TikTok, X (Twitter), and Instagram, attracting millions of views and tens of thousands of comments.
G-Dragon performed hit songs like "Power," "Home Sweet Home," "Crooked," and "Heartbreaker" with a powerful, natural, and spontaneous style. His interactions with fans, his laughter backstage, and his bows to the audience became focal points, creating a widespread impact.

After the concert, G-Dragon shared a picture of his Vietnamese fans on his personal page, which has over 24 million followers, expressing his gratitude and emotion at the enthusiastic support from the audience. His team also sent a special thank you to his Vietnamese fans.
Prior to Vietnam, G-Dragon's Übermensch global tour had already sold out in many countries such as Japan, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, France, the United States, and Australia.
A globally influential icon
G-Dragon (born 1988) is a leading South Korean singer, songwriter, and music producer, and the leader of BIGBANG, a global K-pop (Korean pop) icon. While still a student, he trained at two major entertainment companies: YG Entertainment and SM Entertainment.
The male artist is considered one of South Korea's top royalty earners, with an income of nearly $1.4 million USD per year from his work. Forbes Asia magazine once included him in its list of "30 Most Influential People Under 30 in Asia" in the entertainment industry.
American singer Grimes, former girlfriend of billionaire Elon Musk, once praised him, saying, "G-Dragon is an icon. His influence on me in music is immeasurable."

G-Dragon is not only an artist but also a leading fashion icon in Asia. He regularly attends fashion weeks in Paris (France), Milan (Italy), and Seoul (South Korea), and collaborates with luxury brands such as Chanel, Nike, and Louis Vuitton.
The products he touches, from the Nike x PEACEMINUSONE Para-noise shoes to the headscarf style, quickly become global trends.
Style, music, and distinction
Throughout nearly two decades of pursuing a music career, G-Dragon has maintained his popularity thanks to his pioneering music and unique personal style.
Popular songs like Haru Haru, Fantastic Baby, Heartbreaker , and more recently, Power, performed by him and BIGBANG, all bear his unique mark, being both mainstream and experimental, creating an unmistakable "G-Dragon style."
His music resonates with generations of audiences, from those born in the 80s and 90s to the Alpha generation (those born after 2010), thanks to a combination of artistic individuality and market sensitivity.
G-Dragon is not only a singer, but also an entrepreneur and cultural innovator. His brand, PEACEMINUSONE, has become a lifestyle statement, blending street art and a spirit of freedom.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, G-Dragon currently owns assets estimated at nearly $60 million, including an $8 million penthouse in the Nine One Hannam area of Seoul (South Korea), supercars worth tens of billions of won, and a "black card" held by only 0.05% of the South Korean population.
From "self-produced idol" to Korean cultural icon
According to Naver, G-Dragon is a pioneering artist who shaped the concept of "self-producing idols"—those who directly participate in songwriting, production, image direction, and personal branding. He is a permanent member of the Korea Music Copyright Association (KOMCA).
In late October, G-Dragon was awarded the Korean Cultural Medal – a prestigious award given to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to promoting the Hallyu wave (Korean Wave).
He is also an ambassador promoting the APEC 2025 Summit, and the only Kpop artist to perform at the reception for leaders of 21 member countries – a milestone that affirms the international status of the "King of Kpop".
Last June, G-Dragon donated 880 million won (approximately 18 billion VND) to support a fund that helps treat alcohol addiction among young people in South Korea. The famous singer shared his hope that donations, whether large or small, would become the beginning of a culture of sharing that everyone can participate in.

“G-Dragon has always stood out from other artists. His creativity in music, fashion, and art has made him unique, a multifaceted cultural icon.”
"G-Dragon's recent actions are likely his own decisions, as an artist of his stature usually has a stronger voice with his management company regarding future activities," a South Korean arts management official shared.
Speaking about his successful career path, G-Dragon confessed: "Before, I was always obsessed with perfection. Now, I've found a balance between work and life, and I have more freedom."
When asked about his perspective on what constitutes a true artist, the "King of K-pop" said: "Ultimately, whether you're good or not, if you're going to do something, first, you have to do it right. What I've lost in the past 10 years is time, but I've also become wiser. Now, I want to prepare for a new beginning."
