On the afternoon of November 10, the program "Mai Vang Tri An" organized by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, with the support of Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Nam A Bank), visited and presented gifts of gratitude to musician Pham Dang Khuong - author of many songs associated with student life and the Vietnamese youth movement.

The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere at the musician's private home in Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City. Mr. Bui Thanh Liem, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, on behalf of the "Mai Vang Tri An" program, presented 10 million VND to the musician's family, expressing gratitude for his persistent contributions to Vietnamese music . During the meeting, Mr. Bui Thanh Liem also sent his regards, encouragement and hopes for the musician's quick recovery.

Musician Pham Dang Khuong is currently receiving intensive treatment at Military Hospital 175 (HCMC). He was admitted to the hospital in a weakened state due to severe pneumonia, multiple organ damage, diabetes complications, and multiple organ failure.
According to relatives, the musician has undergone many treatments. Although he is receiving intensive care from doctors, his condition remains very worrying.
More than 40 years of dedication to Vietnamese music
Musician Pham Dang Khuong was born on May 13, 1957 in Quang Ngai . He has had a strong passion for music since childhood, although no one in his family is in the music profession. He is a member of the Vietnam Musicians Association, a member of the Ho Chi Minh City Music Association, and former Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House.

The musician has made many important contributions to Vietnamese music, especially music for teenagers and popular music. Some of his famous songs such as "Like an unintentional wind", "Dream sky", "The road to school", "Gap mua xuan qua day", "Mai mai tuoi 20" have been loved and widely popularized by young people.
In addition to composing music, musician Pham Dang Khuong continues to be active in many fields as a journalist and author of photo books, with works such as "Wandering in the Poplar Forest" and "Chuyen Troi Oi Dat Oi".
In 2024, the musician released the music collection "Hong Bang Motherland Van Lang", including 50 historical music songs composed by him with many writers, poets, and journalists.
