Krông Búk Commune: Providing support to families affected by Typhoon No. 13

On the afternoon of November 10th, Comrade Hoang Kien Cuong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Krong Buk commune, visited, encouraged, and provided financial assistance to six families affected by typhoon No. 13.

The households visited and supported in this round include: H' Bum Niê, Phạm Thị Hà Khanh (Mùi 3 hamlet); Nguyễn Thị Ngãi, Mai Đình Nhật (Ea Plai hamlet); Y Nghi Mlô (Drăh 1 hamlet) and Đinh Công Việc (Ea Nho hamlet).

These are households whose roofs were blown off by Typhoon No. 13, many of whom are elderly people living alone, people with disabilities, and those in difficult circumstances.

At the places he visited, Comrade Hoang Kien Cuong cordially inquired about the health of the people, shared their losses, and provided support of 2 million VND per household. He also listened to the thoughts and aspirations of the people, and encouraged the families to strive to overcome difficulties, restore production, and stabilize their lives as soon as possible after the natural disaster.

As soon as Typhoon No. 13 made landfall, the Krông Búk commune authorities proactively implemented timely response measures, mobilizing forces to villages and hamlets to assist people in reinforcing their houses and moving their property to safe places; organizing inspections and compiling damage statistics, and urgently helping people overcome the consequences of the storm.

Leaders of Krông Búk commune visited and encouraged Mr. Đinh Công Việc (Ea Nho village).

According to statistics, due to the impact of typhoon No. 13, 27 houses in Krông Búk commune were damaged; 50 hectares of perennial crops were affected. In addition, more than 3,000 m² of aquaculture area was also flooded.

This visit and support activity demonstrates the deep sense of responsibility and compassion of the Party Committee and the government of Krông Búk commune towards the people. This is a timely source of encouragement, providing strength for the people to gradually overcome difficulties, restore production, and stabilize their lives after the natural disaster.
