Krong Buk Commune: Supporting families affected by storm No. 13

On the afternoon of November 10, comrade Hoang Kien Cuong, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Krong Buk commune visited, encouraged and gave support money to 6 households affected by storm No. 13.

Households visited and supported this time include: H'Bum Nie, Pham Thi Ha Khanh (Mui 3 hamlet); Nguyen Thi Ngai, Mai Dinh Nhat (Ea Plai hamlet); Y Nghi Mlo (Drah 1 hamlet) and Dinh Cong Viec (Ea Nho hamlet).

These are households whose roofs were blown off by storm No. 13, many of whom are elderly people living alone, people with disabilities, and people in difficult circumstances.

Comrade Hoang Kien Cuong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Krong Buk commune, presented support to Ms. H' Bum Nie (Mui 3 hamlet).

At the places he visited, Comrade Hoang Kien Cuong kindly inquired about the health of the people, shared the loss with the people and gave support of 2 million VND/household. He also listened to the people's thoughts and wishes, and encouraged the families to make efforts to overcome difficulties, restore production, and soon stabilize their lives after the natural disaster.

As soon as storm No. 13 made landfall, the Krong Buk commune authorities proactively deployed timely response measures, mobilizing forces to villages and hamlets to support people in reinforcing their houses and moving their assets to safe places; organizing inspections, counting damages, and urgently helping people overcome the consequences of the storm.

According to statistics, due to the impact of storm No. 13, the entire Krong Buk commune had 27 houses damaged; 50 hectares of perennial crops were affected. In addition, more than 3,000 square meters of aquaculture area were also flooded.

This visit and support activity demonstrates the sense of responsibility and deep sharing of the Party Committee and the government of Krong Buk commune towards the people. This is a timely source of encouragement, adding strength for people to gradually overcome difficulties, restore production and stabilize their lives after natural disasters.
