70 Lao Cai workers are equipped with knowledge and skills before going to work in Korea.

From November 10 to 12, Lao Cai Provincial Employment Service Center organized a program to educate and train Korean language and provide legal knowledge for 70 candidates who are workers of the province to participate in the seasonal labor program in Korea.

Within the framework of the program, the Provincial Department of Internal Affairs provided information on the benefits and policies of labor export activities; the Provincial Police disseminated knowledge of Vietnamese and Korean laws in labor management; the Provincial Employment Service Center guided on policies supporting workers; and business representatives shared information on the sponsorship process and the responsibilities of workers when working abroad.

Representatives from the Department of Internal Affairs of Lao Cai province presented gifts to workers preparing to depart for overseas employment in November and December 2025.

The program aims to equip workers with the necessary cultural knowledge, language skills, legal understanding, and interpersonal skills, helping them confidently integrate and work effectively in South Korea. This is a practical activity that contributes to improving the quality of the province's human resources, expanding job opportunities, increasing income, and promoting economic development for local workers.

The organizers hope that each candidate will become a "global farmer" - a labor ambassador who will contribute to strengthening the friendly cooperative relationship between Vietnam and South Korea.
