Commander of the 34th Corps inspects the results of overcoming the consequences of storm No. 13

(GLO)- On the afternoon of November 10, the working delegation of the 34th Corps Command led by Lieutenant General Dao Tuan Anh, Commander of the Corps, inspected the situation and results of overcoming the consequences of storm No. 13 at Division 31 and the 34th Corps Military School.

At Division 31 and Military School of Corps 34, the working delegation heard reports on the damage situation, progress of repair, ensuring accommodation and living conditions for soldiers; and work to ensure the safety of warehouses, weapons, and technical equipment after the storm.

Despite being severely affected, units promptly deployed forces and means to overcome the consequences; supported localities in cleaning houses, clearing roads, harvesting crops, helping people gradually stabilize their lives.

During the field inspection, Lieutenant General Dao Tuan Anh visited and encouraged officers and soldiers performing their duties; commended their proactive, responsible, and urgent spirit in responding to and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.

The Commander of the 34th Corps also requested Party committees and commanders at all levels to continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the superiors' instructions on natural disaster prevention, control and mitigation; ensure the safety of the barracks, warehouses and training grounds; proactively coordinate closely with local authorities to help people soon stabilize their lives and restore production after the storm.
