
Central Power Corporation restores power supply to 80% of customers affected by storm No. 13
For the electricity sector, after three days of focusing on overcoming the consequences of storm No. 13, the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) has restored power to more than 1.32 million customers, reaching 80% of the total number of affected customers. More than 2,300 officers, engineers and workers of the unit are still working hard at the scene to soon complete the restoration of power supply to the entire system. Although many areas are still cut off from traffic and the power infrastructure is severely damaged, the electricity sector still maintains the scene, working continuously to soon restore power to the people. The goal is to basically complete the restoration of power to all affected customers today.
On the 110kV grid, 29/30 incidents have been resolved, only one 110kV line belonging to Gia Lai Electricity Company is being urgently handled. 100% of 110kV transformer stations have resumed operation, ensuring the main power supply for the regional power system.
Regarding the medium voltage grid, EVNCPC recorded 468 incidents; of which, 344 have been restored; 124 are being repaired. Of the total 19,563 affected distribution transformer stations, 15,819 have been restored so far, leaving 3,744 without power. The unrestored capacity is estimated at 176 MW, equivalent to 4.6% of the maximum load of the entire system.
In Gia Lai, the local Electricity Company has restored 117/208 incidents, leaving about 251,783 customers and 2,755 distribution transformer stations without power, with a capacity loss of about 143.8 MW. The areas of Hoai An, Bong Son, Kong Chro, Krong Pa, and An Khe have achieved a recovery rate of 94-100%, while coastal localities such as Quy Nhon, Phu My, and Phu Cat are being focused on handling.
In Dak Lak , 83/113 incidents have been restored; 78,723 customers and 989 distribution transformer stations are still out of power, with an estimated loss of 32.5 MW. Tuy Hoa, Son Hoa, Dong Hoa, Tay Hoa areas have basically had electricity restored; Song Cau, Tuy An, Dong Xuan and Song Hinh areas are being urgently repaired.
Although many areas are still cut off from traffic and the power infrastructure is severely damaged, EVNCPC forces are still on the scene, working continuously to quickly restore power to people in the storm's center. The Corporation aims to basically complete the restoration of power to all affected customers by November 10.
