Starting in 1995 with the first TV factory, Samsung has continuously expanded its scale, becoming a leading enterprise in the technology field in Vietnam.

The group currently operates six modern manufacturing plants with sales and marketing offices nationwide, contributing to job creation, export promotion and making important contributions to the country's socio -economic growth.

In 2022, Samsung's largest Research and Development (R&D) Center in Southeast Asia was inaugurated in Hanoi , demonstrating its commitment to long-term investment and development of high-tech human resources right in Vietnam.
Over the past three decades, Samsung has not only been the largest FDI investor in Vietnam with a total capital of 23.2 billion USD (by the end of 2024), but has also been a companion of millions of Vietnamese families.
Products such as Galaxy, Vision AI integrated TVs or Bespoke AI home appliances have contributed to improving the quality of life, bringing smart and environmentally friendly technology experiences.

Innovating with Vietnam in the AI era
Vietnam is currently Samsung's global manufacturing hub, where more than 2.35 billion smart products in the Galaxy ecosystem have been manufactured, and is also the "gateway" to expand AI-integrated technology to Southeast Asian and Oceanian markets.
With outstanding production and research and development (R&D) capacity, Vietnamese engineers are participating in leading many of the group's key global projects.
Samsung believes that potential technology human resources and the desire for digital transformation are helping Vietnam move closer to its goal of becoming a leading technology center in the region.
The Group will continue to invest in production, R&D, technology transfer and talent development, strengthening Vietnam's role in the global technology value chain of innovation and technology human resources in the AI era.
