QNgTV- The project to overcome landslides in the Sa Can estuary area has now reached about 70% of the construction volume. Units are speeding up the progress, striving to complete it this year to ensure safety for residential areas and boat operations.

The Sa Can Estuary Erosion Repair Project has now ensured safe elevation during the storm season.

The Sa Can estuary Erosion Repair Project in Tan Hy 1 Village and Son Tra Village, Van Tuong Commune, Quang Ngai Province, after nearly 4 months of construction, has now reached about 70% of the volume.

The project has a total investment of 45 billion VND, invested by the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board. The goal is to overcome the landslide situation in the Sa Can estuary area to ensure the safety of lives, houses and property of 32 households/92 people living along the estuary. The project includes a 500m long sloped embankment, the top of the embankment combined with a 5.5m wide traffic road, the end and end locks of the embankment, items on the route and a 125m long connecting road.

Up to now, the rock pouring work on the embankment has ensured the safety of the project during the rainy and stormy season. The roofing and structural installation items have been completed. Contractors are focusing on the construction of the retaining wall, the road connecting the 160m subsidence waiting section... striving to complete the entire project earlier than the proposed plan.
