At around 4:00 p.m. on November 11, at Viet Tri Stadium ( Phu Tho ), the Vietnamese team entered its first training session in preparation for the rematch with Laos in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers. The most notable player in the 23-player squad this time is Nguyen Xuan Son.

Right from the moment he stepped onto the field to change clothes, Xuan Son attracted attention with his toned body, six-pack abs and massive figure. It was easy to see the difference between Xuan Son and his teammates in the Vietnam team in terms of physique.

After 11 months of absence due to injury, the naturalized player born in 1997 still shows the same appearance as in the beginning. That shows the admirable efforts of Nguyen Xuan Son over the past year.

During the training session of the Vietnam team, Xuan Son showed a serious spirit and attitude. He was confident with his ball handling in the ghost kicking exercise. It was very difficult for his teammates to use their strength to compete for the ball with this naturalized player.

In this training session, the Vietnamese team only practiced with 13 players, because the group competing in round 11 of V-League had just gathered, so they stayed at the hotel for light training.

This group includes Duy Manh, Xuan Manh, Hai Long, Thanh Chung, Tuan Hai (Hanoi Club), Van Vi ( Nam Dinh Club), Quang Hai, Quang Vinh, Thanh Long (Hanoi Police Club), Van Viet (The Cong - Viettel).

The Vietnamese team will train in Phu Tho from November 11 to November 14, then move to Laos on November 15. The rematch between the two teams in the second leg of Group F of the third qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup will take place on November 19.
