Provincial leaders inspect the progress of industrial park projects.

On the afternoon of November 11, Comrade Bui Van Luong, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and the working delegation inspected the progress of key industrial park (IP) projects in the southern region of the province, including: Song Cong II IP (phase 1 and phase 2), Phu Binh IP and Yen Binh 2 IP.

The Southern region is identified as the key industrial development area, the “growth engine” of the province in the period 2025-2030. Therefore, the province is directing strongly to remove obstacles in compensation, support, resettlement and site clearance (GPMB) to create clean land to attract investment.

According to data from the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, up to now, the Song Cong II Industrial Park Project (Phase 1) has cleared over 96% of the area, striving to complete in November 2025; the Song Cong II Industrial Park Project (Phase 2) has completed payment and handed over 100% of the area of ​​120 hectares, and problems with grave relocation are being resolved in December. Localities and investors are focusing on completing the clearance of the Yen Binh 2 Industrial Park Project, area 300 hectares and the Phu Binh Industrial Park Project, area 30 hectares in November, ensuring the progress of handover to infrastructure investors for construction implementation.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Bui Van Luong acknowledged the efforts of the government and relevant parties in resolving the contents concluded in the previous meeting.

Emphasizing that site clearance is the key step, a measure of the management capacity of authorities at all levels and the support of enterprises, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to closely coordinate with local authorities to speed up the payment progress and construction of resettlement areas; at the same time, requesting investors to prepare sufficient financial resources and coordinate timely disbursement.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee criticized some investors for not really getting involved, and at the same time requested functional branches to strengthen inspection and remove obstacles right at the grassroots level.
