Immediately after the merger, the People's Committee of Dan Tien commune established the Public Administration Service Center to receive and resolve administrative procedures for the people. The commune also quickly developed and issued an administrative reform plan for the last 6 months of 2025 with a number of specific key tasks.
The center is equipped with relatively adequate facilities with a team of qualified and competent staff who are appropriately arranged and assigned to perform their tasks... Commune leaders regularly monitor, urge and guide specialized civil servants to review and evaluate administrative procedures in accordance with regulations, focusing on the quality of the results of reviewing administrative procedures and related regulations.
The activities of the commune in general and the Public Administration Service Center in particular were going smoothly when storm No. 11 affected and disrupted everything. Specifically, the natural disaster caused a volume of about 50,000m3 of earth and rock to suddenly slide down right behind the office building. The area above still has many large rocks waiting to collapse at any time.
Faced with the urgent situation, all activities of the Party Committee, the government and the Commune Public Administration Service Center were moved to the former Headquarters of the Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Binh Long Commune. This relocation forced the Dan Tien Commune apparatus to face the following reality: The new workplace was more cramped, the facilities were temporary and the geographical distance caused inconvenience to both officials and people.
However, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Dan Tien commune unanimously determined that the more difficult it is, the more effort must be made. The Public Administration Service Center, although operating at a temporary location, must still be a place where people feel trusted and receive the most attentive service.
Mr. Hoang Van Thao, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee, Director of the Dan Tien Commune Public Administration Service Center, said: Despite being heavily affected by natural disasters, with damaged facilities and difficult travel, the unit's work of receiving and processing documents was quickly stabilized after moving to the new headquarters. Officials and civil servants proactively arranged and reassigned working departments and necessary equipment, creating favorable conditions for people to come and transact. The reception and processing of documents was carried out smoothly and in accordance with procedures.
Since moving to the old Binh Long commune headquarters (from October 16 to early November), the Commune Public Administration Service Center has received 390 applications, of which 294 were received online. With great effort and determination, the Center has processed 274 applications ahead of schedule and on time, the rest are still within the processing period, no applications are overdue.
The initial efforts and results in resolving administrative procedures in Dan Tien commune have shown a positive start in administrative reform after the merger. The results achieved and the efforts and high determination of the Party Committee and government of Dan Tien commune, of each cadre and civil servant promise a more professional and effective administrative service in the next period.
