Propagating health insurance policy for students at Tay Nguyen University

At the conference, representatives of the provincial Social Insurance informed the staff, teachers and more than 300 students of Tay Nguyen University about the following topics: Contribution levels, support levels of the State and the province, and the process of issuing and renewing health insurance cards for students; benefits when participating in health insurance for students; instructions on using the VSSID application - Social Insurance number, looking up social insurance codes and online public services.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Director of the Provincial Social Insurance, Dam Thi Thanh Que, said: In recent years, the work of propagating and mobilizing students to participate in health insurance in the province has achieved many encouraging results. Many schools have achieved 100% student participation, contributing significantly to the goal of universal health insurance coverage in the province. Since the 2025-2026 school year, the level of support for students to participate in health insurance from the State budget has been adjusted to increase from 30% to 50% of the contribution level. Notably, in Dak Lak province, in addition to the State budget support, the local budget also supports students with an additional 5% of the contribution level, bringing the total support level when participating in health insurance for students to 55%. With this support level, students only have to pay 45% of the fee and are guaranteed to fully enjoy the benefits of the health insurance policy.

Provincial Social Insurance officers promote health insurance policies to students

In order for the health insurance work for students in the 2025-2026 school year to be effective and to aim for a 100% health insurance coverage rate, the Provincial Social Insurance hopes to continue to receive the attention and close coordination of the school's Board of Directors and teachers in promoting propaganda and mobilization work so that students understand and fully participate in health insurance. For each student, participating in health insurance must be considered not only a right for themselves and their families, but also a responsibility with the school and society to implement the humane policies of the Party and State.

Also at the conference, provincial Social Insurance officers directly discussed, consulted, and answered questions to help students clearly understand their rights when going for health examination and treatment under health insurance.

It is known that after the conference tonight, on the evening of November 13, the provincial Social Insurance will continue to open another session to propagate health insurance policies with the participation of about 300 students of the school.
