Many students are interested in "hot" majors that are not affected by artificial intelligence (AI).
Ms. Truong Hai Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, said that this year the program is organized at 22 secondary schools, colleges, vocational training centers and vocational training centers in the city. The main participants are 8th and 9th grade students and career guidance teachers.
The program provides students with information on admission to grade 10, career orientation counseling after junior high school, psychological and health counseling during exam season, and forecasts human resource needs; at the same time, contributes to the implementation of the work of streamlining junior high school graduates, improving the quality of vocational education by 2030, with a vision to 2045.
In addition to the traditional path to high schools and gifted schools, Mr. Dao Phi Truong, an expert from the Department of Continuing Education - Vocational and University Education - Department of Education and Training, suggests that secondary school students have another flexible option, which is to study vocational education. This path allows them to study culture and vocational skills in parallel.
