Resolutely handle ethical violations in the educational environment

According to delegate Ho Thi Minh, Article 69 of the 2019 Law on Education stipulates that educational managers must have good qualities, ideology, and ethics, maintain honor and prestige, and set an example for teachers and students.

Before the information spread on social networks about the sensitive clip that was said to have occurred at To Hien Thanh High School (a private school in Hai Hau commune, Ninh Binh province), the representative of the People's Committee of Hai Hau commune said that on the afternoon of November 10, the Council of To Hien Thanh High School had a meeting and had a record requesting the dismissal of Mr. NVĐ (Chairman of the School Council) and submitted it to the competent authorities for consideration and decision.

Regarding this issue, speaking on the sidelines of the National Assembly, delegate Ho Thi Minh (Quang Tri) said that serious violations of pedagogical ethics standards and going against the code of conduct in educational institutions must be resolutely fought against and eliminated.

Thus, if the man's behavior in the video clip is verified by the authorities, it is a serious violation of ethical standards, harming the school's reputation, undermining the trust of students, teachers and parents, causing bad public opinion in society...; therefore, it is necessary to resolutely fight to eliminate unethical behaviors in the educational environment.

According to the delegate, this is an unfortunate and isolated incident that does not reflect the general situation of the education sector today. Therefore, we need to have objective assessments and views on the contributions of the education sector in the cause of "growing people."

However, every teacher and manager working in the education sector should consider this a valuable lesson to reflect on themselves, constantly study, practice, cultivate, and uphold their qualities and professional ethics in all circumstances to be worthy of being a shining example for students to follow.
