Nearly 150 people practiced fire fighting and rescue in residential area

On the morning of October 24, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Ho Chi Minh City Police) coordinated with Dien Hong Ward to organize a firefighting and rescue drill at alley 525 To Hien Thanh (Dien Hong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City). 149 people from many forces participated in the drill.

The hypothetical scenario is that at 8:00 AM on October 24th, a fire broke out in a house on To Hien Thanh Street, Dien Hong Ward.

The fire and explosion were caused by a short circuit in the motorcycle battery, generating sparks that ignited flammable materials, causing the fire to spread to the surrounding area. Simultaneously, a gas leak caused an explosion and the collapse of a nearby residential building.

Firefighters and rescue forces sprayed water to extinguish the fire.

The fire has the potential to spread to surrounding areas of approximately 100m². The fire emits a large amount of toxic smoke and gases, and the temperature rises sharply, threatening the lives and health of everyone in the area. If not controlled and extinguished promptly, the fire will spread and become a large blaze.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire and Rescue Police force promptly dispatched vehicles and officers to the scene to coordinate with local forces in extinguishing the fire and rescuing the victims.

By approximately 8:30 AM that same day, the fire was extinguished, and the victims were rescued in time.
