A fire broke out at a vermicelli and snail restaurant, and people trapped inside were rescued promptly by authorities.

At around 4am on December 5, a fire broke out at a vermicelli and snail restaurant on Tran Hung Dao Street, Cau Ong Lanh Ward (HCMC).

Authorities approached to extinguish the fire and rescue victims.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police (PC07, Ho Chi Minh City Police) mobilized many fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire and rescue the victims. Those trapped inside were brought out safely. Ambulances were also mobilized to transport victims of smoke inhalation to the hospital for emergency treatment.
