Thai Nguyen increases the number of growing area codes to 151

Up to now, Thai Nguyen province is guiding, managing and supervising 151 growing area codes, nearly double the 74 codes in August 2025.

Nearly doubling the number of codes shows the locality's efforts in standardizing production areas, meeting traceability requirements and increasingly demanding consumer markets.

Of the total 151 growing area codes, tea accounts for the largest proportion with 106 codes, an area of ​​over 871 hectares, and an output of nearly 11,000 tons. In addition, the province also has 26 rice growing area codes (107 hectares), 9 fruit growing area codes (41 hectares), and bamboo shoot, vegetable, turmeric and yellow flower tea growing area codes...

All are closely monitored for farming processes, food safety and technical standards.
