On the evening of November 21, comrade Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province visited, presented gifts and encouraged the forces of the Military Region 7 Command who are participating in rescue and support to overcome the consequences of natural disasters in Lam Dong province.

Joining the delegation were comrade Nguyen Van Son, Provincial Party Committee member, Political Commissar of Lam Dong Provincial Military Command and comrade Le Minh Quang, Deputy Head of Lam Dong Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.

Currently, there are two units under the Military Region 7 Command participating in rescue and supporting Lam Dong province to overcome the consequences of natural disasters , including the 25th Engineering Brigade, reinforced with 125 officers and soldiers; the 302nd Infantry Division reinforced with 202 officers and soldiers; along with vehicles participating in supporting Lam Dong province including command vehicles, 24 trucks, 2 ambulances, 2 military control vehicles and 5 speedboats.

At Vu Trung village, Duc Trong commune, Lam Dong province, where officers and soldiers of two units are on duty to support disaster relief, Lam Dong Provincial Party Secretary Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam visited, encouraged and presented gifts to officers and soldiers. At the same time, he expressed his deep gratitude to the Military Region 7 Command in general, the 25th Engineer Brigade and the 302nd Infantry Division in particular.

Comrade Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam sent special thanks to the officers and soldiers who are directly helping the people of Lam Dong province overcome difficulties and heavy losses caused by natural disasters.

He affirmed that the timely and important support from Military Region 7 has added great strength to the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Lam Dong province to overcome difficulties. In the streamside area of Vu Trung village, where floodwaters completely swept away two houses, forces are currently cleaning up.

Forces of Military Region 7 have contributed greatly to helping Lam Dong province respond to and overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

The Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee requested local authorities to take note and absolutely not let people return to live there until safety is guaranteed. At the same time, they should carefully review the entire area to have a plan to resettle the people.

He also requested the Lam Dong Provincial Military Command and local forces to closely coordinate with the forces of Military Region 7 to quickly and effectively deploy tasks and soon stabilize people's lives.
