Hearts of sharing
Among those who registered to donate blood was Mr. Lam Quoc Duy, an employee of the Phan Rang Electricity Management Team. This was his eighth time donating blood. Mr. Duy shared: "Although my job is hard, if my health is good, donating blood is something I should do. I always think that somewhere in the hospital, there are people waiting for each unit of blood to regain their lives. Being able to help those in need of blood makes me very happy."

Having been involved with the program for many years, Ms. Tran Le Huong Truc, an employee of the Project Management Department of Khanh Hoa Power Company, shared: “I was very nervous the first time I donated blood, but afterwards I felt normal and even looked forward to the next blood donation drives. This is a way for each person to show responsibility to the community, which is very meaningful.”

The enthusiasm of staff members like Mr. Duy and Ms. Truc contributed to a vibrant atmosphere right from the start of the campaign. On December 10th alone, Khanh Hoa Power Company donated 34 units of blood, making a practical contribution to the blood reserve for emergency and treatment purposes at medical facilities in the province.
Sending a message of love
Mr. Ho Thai Yen Kha - Chairman of the Trade Union and Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Power Company, said: "The 'EVN Pink Week' is an activity that Khanh Hoa Power Company regularly participates in and maintains every year, but each year brings new value. The program not only demonstrates social responsibility but also reflects the beautiful culture of the power industry. When staff and employees proactively participate in blood donation, we feel the spirit of solidarity and compassion spreading strongly. The company always considers this a humane activity that needs to be sustainably promoted. Many staff and employees who were previously hesitant are now boldly participating, even becoming regular blood donation volunteers."
To spread the meaningful message about humanitarian blood donation, Khanh Hoa Power Company has intensified its宣传 efforts throughout the company with the slogan "Give a drop of blood - Connect with love". Through social media and company-wide activities, this meaningful action has been widely disseminated, attracting the participation of a large number of employees.
From the selfless blood donations received during this week, the spirit of sharing and social responsibility of the electricians in Khanh Hoa continues to be affirmed. The 11th EVN Blood Donation Week in 2025 not only contributes to the province's blood bank but also helps build the image of friendly, dedicated electricians who always care about the community.
2025 marks the 11th year that Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) has implemented the "Pink Week" program with the slogan "Thousands of hearts - One spirit," a humanitarian activity aimed at encouraging employees throughout the industry to actively participate in blood donation, supplementing blood reserves for hospitals, and also commemorating the 71st anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Electricity Industry (December 21, 1954 - December 21, 2024) and EVN's Customer Appreciation Month.
