Khanh Ha Investment Joint Stock Company has proposed funding the restoration of 5 villas belonging to the Cau Da Villa historical site.

On December 9th, Khanh Ha Investment Joint Stock Company - the investor of the Bao Dai High-Class Resort Project - sent a document to the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province proposing to participate in and provide funding for the renovation and restoration of 5 villas belonging to the Cau Da Villa historical site.

According to the document, in 2019, the company completed the restoration of the Nghinh Phong and Vong Nguyet villas using its own funds. In April 2024, the company handed over five villas to the Provincial Center for Monument Preservation (now the Provincial Center for Cultural Heritage Preservation). These villas are considered by the company to be the heart and inseparable part of the Bao Dai High-Class Resort Project. Currently, the company is working diligently with leading units in monument restoration design to coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to develop a restoration plan that is consistent with the overall project and report to the Provincial People's Committee before carrying out the restoration.

Khanh Ha Investment Joint Stock Company wishes to participate in and fully finance the restoration of 5 existing villas, from design to restoration execution, to ensure consistency in the overall project design with the goal of adaptive preservation, aiming to maintain and enhance the value of the villas. In the document, the company also stated that the management and operation of the 5 villas must be synchronized with the management and maintenance of the technical infrastructure and overall landscape of the Bao Dai High-Class Resort Project. Therefore, the company continues to request the Provincial People's Committee to consider assigning the company the right to operate and manage the 5 villas belonging to the Cau Da Villa historical site.

It is known that on June 21, 2024, the Provincial People's Committee issued a decision classifying the Cau Da Villa complex as a provincial-level architectural and artistic relic. Accordingly, the Cau Da Villa complex consists of 5 villas, named by the French after the types of trees and flowers planted around each villa: Cactus (Nghinh Phong), Frangipani (Vong Nguyet), Flame Tree, Bougainvillea, and Indian Almond Tree.
