Job opportunities for Tet (Lunar New Year) 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City, start working immediately with an income of 8-15 million VND.

As Tet (Vietnamese New Year) approaches in 2026, the fields of general labor, food and beverage, business, management, design, and mechanics are among the sectors currently hiring in large numbers.

On the morning of December 11th, at the 10th annual Job Fair 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City Employment Service Center received applications from 83 businesses for direct recruitment. Many positions are available for immediate employment before Tet (Lunar New Year) 2026. The Center also connected online with its second branch (formerly in Binh Duong) and its third branch (formerly in Ba Ria - Vung Tau ).

According to Ms. Nguyen Van Hanh Thuc, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Employment Service Center, there are currently 17,956 job openings urgently needed. The sectors with the highest recruitment demand include general labor, food and beverage, business, management, design, and mechanics, with salaries ranging from 8 to 15 million VND per month.

Observations at the job fair revealed that many companies in the food and beverage industry have a large demand for employees. Businesses are investing in expanding their business systems and branches, preparing for the peak dining and shopping season at the end of the year.

According to statistics from the Ho Chi Minh City Employment Service Center, as of November 2025, the food and beverage industry is one of the top three sectors with the most job openings, with 1,789 positions, accounting for 9.06%. The highest number of positions are for unskilled labor, followed by footwear and garment manufacturing.

Ms. Tran Thai Quynh Chau, representative of Cuu Van Long restaurant, said the establishment is currently recruiting 60 employees for 6 locations in Ho Chi Minh City in positions such as kitchen staff, cleaning staff, and servers, with salaries ranging from 8 to 15 million VND per month. "The company is providing opportunities for employees to start working immediately, and recruitment will continue from now until Tet (Lunar New Year) 2026," Ms. Chau said.

Ty Hung Company, a shoe manufacturer, is looking to hire pattern cutters, shoe pattern makers, Chinese and Japanese interpreters, and electrical technicians. Salaries range from 8 to 10 million VND per month.

However, if the employee has experience and knowledge in the footwear industry, a higher salary can be negotiated. The company is currently in urgent need of employees, and successful candidates can start working immediately.

In addition, Ty Hung Company is also looking for general laborers such as gardeners and cleaning staff; only good health and agility are required, with a salary of 8 million VND per month.

With Tet (Lunar New Year) approaching, Ho Chi Minh City residents need to clean and sanitize their homes and offices. Therefore, Home 101 Co., Ltd. urgently needs 15 cleaning staff, with a salary of 8-10 million VND per month. The company prioritizes female applicants aged 18-60 with good health and experience as cleaning staff in companies or apartment buildings.

"We are preparing our workforce for the upcoming Tet holiday in 2026, so we have continuous recruitment needs. Candidates who meet the criteria can start working immediately," said a representative from the human resources department of Home 101 Company.

GreenSM Bike Joint Stock Company is seeking to recruit up to 500 motorbike drivers to serve the high demand for transportation during the year-end and Tet holiday season. With flexible working hours and potential earnings of up to 15 million VND per month, the company only requires drivers to have an A1 or A2 driver's license and good health to start working immediately.

Ms. Thu Uyen (36 years old, residing in Thu Duc ward) arrived at the job fair very early. She said she was looking for a job as a kitchen assistant or waitress in a restaurant to earn money for Tet (Lunar New Year).
