On the first day of inspections of commercial passenger transport vehicles, 109 violations were handled.

According to the Traffic Police Department, implementing the plan in coordination with the Vietnam Road Administration in inspecting, controlling, and handling violations of traffic order, safety, and road transport activities for passenger transport vehicles (from 12:00 PM on December 10, 2025), on the first day of implementation, the Highway Traffic Police Teams deployed 24 shifts, conducted inspections at 20 locations, and inspected 1036 vehicles (597 fixed-route passenger buses and 439 contract passenger buses).

As a result, 109 cases were recorded (64 drivers, 45 vehicle owners), driving license points were deducted in 31 cases, vehicle registration plates were revoked in 28 cases, vehicles were temporarily seized in 3 cases, and 1 vehicle was identified as operating as a disguised contract vehicle.

Among the violations, there were 5 cases of carrying more passengers than permitted; 3 cases of picking up and dropping off passengers illegally; 7 cases of not operating on the correct route; 4 cases of not having a transport order; 18 cases of not having or not carrying a transport contract, or having a transport contract but not in accordance with regulations; 4 cases of not having a passenger list or carrying passengers not on the list; 2 cases of violations related to vehicle tracking; and 6 cases of not having or not displaying the required vehicle identification sticker. In addition, there were violations related to speeding, improper overtaking, vehicle registration, inspection certificates, stopping and parking on the highway, and using a mobile phone while driving.

Specifically, Highway Traffic Police Team No. 1 deployed 2 shifts, inspected 210 vehicles, issued 8 violation reports, and temporarily seized 2 vehicles. Highway Traffic Police Team No. 2 deployed 5 shifts, inspected 213 vehicles, issued 26 violation reports, deducted points from driver's licenses in 10 cases, and revoked vehicle registration plates in 6 cases. Highway Traffic Police Team No. 3 deployed 4 shifts, inspected 192 vehicles, issued 32 violation reports, deducted points from driver's licenses in 8 cases, revoked vehicle registration plates in 9 cases, and temporarily seized 1 vehicle.
