Gasoline and diesel prices both decreased on the afternoon of December 11th.

Specifically, the price of E5RON92 gasoline will not exceed 19,615 VND/liter (a decrease of 207 VND/liter compared to the current base price), which is 467 VND/liter lower than RON95-III gasoline. The price of RON95-III gasoline will not exceed 20,082 VND/liter (a decrease of 378 VND/liter compared to the current base price). Diesel 0.05S will not exceed 18,154 VND/liter (a decrease of 226 VND/liter compared to the current base price). Kerosene will not exceed 18,641 VND/liter (a decrease of 252 VND/liter compared to the current base price). Fuel oil 180CST 3.5S will not exceed 13,393 VND/kg (a decrease of 43 VND/kg compared to the current base price).

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, over the past seven days, the global oil market has been affected by news of the Russia-Ukraine peace agreement and the US Federal Reserve's decision to lower interest rates. As a result, fuel prices have tended to decrease compared to the previous period: RON 95 gasoline decreased by 2.4% to $79.9 per barrel; diesel decreased by 1.5%; and fuel oil decreased by 0.4%.
