Promoting the development of health and wellness tourism products in Hue.

On December 12th, the Hue City Department of Tourism announced that it had organized a survey program on health and wellness tourism products in the area to guide the exploitation, promotion, and development of this type of tourism in the future.

The program involved 30 travel agencies from within and outside the city, along with representatives from various media outlets. The delegation visited several experiential destinations, including the Moon River cruise on the Perfume River, and enjoyed a relaxing experience with the "Meditation Bell - Himalayan Singing Bell" activity aimed at caring for body, mind, and spirit. The delegation also learned about medical and cosmetic services and pricing policies for travel agencies at the International and On-Demand Treatment Center - Hue Central Hospital.

Next, the group experienced vegetarian cuisine for body detoxification at An Nhien Garden Vegetarian Restaurant and enjoyed a variety of massage treatments such as steam bath, dry sauna, natural herbal therapy, herbal salt stone therapy, infrared salt stone therapy, hot stone massage, herbal oil massage, etc.

According to the Hue City Department of Tourism, the survey program aims to provide more complete and accurate information about existing health care destinations and products. The survey not only helps tourists and travel businesses better understand health care services in Hue, but also contributes to positioning the city as a "new wellness and healing paradise" in Central Vietnam.

The survey results show that health and wellness tourism products in Hue have great potential for development; travel businesses have proposed many solutions to improve the quality and refine tours for early operation.

The survey team visited and experienced the Hue International Tea Festival 2025.

With wellness tourism becoming a global trend, Hue City is also actively implementing the "Orientation for the Development of Wellness Tourism in Hue City" project. This is considered a strategic step to make Hue a leading wellness tourism destination in Vietnam and the region.
