The Department of Industry and Trade provides guidance on rules of origin for goods and engages in dialogue with businesses.

On the morning of December 12th, the Department of Industry and Trade organized a conference to provide guidance on rules of origin for goods and to hold a dialogue to address difficulties and obstacles in import and export activities when implementing the two-tiered local government model.

At the conference, delegates were briefed on administrative procedures related to the origin of goods; regulations on self-certification of origin under free trade agreements (FTAs); and many new points in the implementation of import and export tasks at the local level after the transition to a two-tiered local government model.

Subsequently, the Department of Industry and Trade directly engaged in dialogue, received suggestions, and addressed the difficulties faced by businesses in carrying out import and export procedures, especially issues arising from the requirement to update new regulations.

The conference aims to help businesses promptly grasp regulations, effectively utilize incentives from FTAs, enhance competitiveness, and boost the province's export activities in the coming period.
