Bac Ninh: 1 project advances to the final round of the National Startup Project Development Program 2025.

The SAMMAX Sports Herbal Tea project by Ms. Giap Thi Ngoc Chung, Director of Sam To Nui Danh Limited Company (Tan Yen commune), has its main product as a herbal sports drink combining Nam Nui Danh ginseng with cordyceps, reishi mushroom, brown sugar, and Himalayan pink salt.

This is the first product in Vietnam specifically researched for active people, including athletes and those who participate in recreational sports such as running, pickleball, football, or gym workouts.

Ms. Giap Thi Ngoc Chung stands beside the ginseng raw material area of the SAMMAX Sports Herbal Tea Project in Tan Yen commune.

Through this project, the author aims to develop and standardize processing procedures, optimize medicinal properties, and enhance the value of ginseng from raw materials to modern products. The goal is to create sustainable markets and livelihoods for over 100 households in a ginseng growing area of over 200 hectares, and to build a linked chain encompassing raw materials, manufacturing plants, distribution systems, and the sports community.

The SAMMAX Sports Herbal Tea project was highly praised by the judging panel for its market potential, application of science and technology, differentiation, social practicality, and especially its innovative spirit; it is expected to expand into domestic and international markets in the next phase. The project also participated in the Final Round of the Bac Ninh Province Innovation Startup Competition in 2025.

In the recently concluded semi-final round of the program, the judging panel scored the 20 best projects selected from hundreds of applications nationwide. The final round of the National Startup Program 2025 is scheduled to be held on December 20th.

The National Startup Project Development Program 2025, organized annually since 2002 by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the Business Forum Magazine, in collaboration with ministries, sectors, and localities, aims to stimulate creativity, dynamic thinking, and inspire entrepreneurship among young people nationwide. Through the program, viable startup projects receive mentorship to refine their plans, connect with investors, and have the opportunity to receive support in establishing their businesses.
