Disseminating and educating over 300 youth union members and young people on drug prevention and control laws.

On December 11-12, at the Central Pedagogical College - Nha Trang, the Office of the Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with the Youth Union's working committee and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, organized a conference to disseminate and educate on laws regarding drug prevention and control for Youth Union officials, members, and young people in Khanh Hoa province.

At the conference, more than 300 youth union officials, members, and young people from school unions and commune/ward unions throughout the province were briefed on drug prevention and control; and new methods and tactics used by drug traffickers. In addition, youth union members exchanged skills in disseminating information about drug prevention and control; raising awareness about preventing drug addiction and relapse; improving the effectiveness of drug prevention work by the Youth Union; and watched a short play about the harmful effects of drugs on human health and social order and safety.
