Ho Chi Minh City has resolved 670 outstanding and problematic projects.

Following the merger, Ho Chi Minh City had 838 projects, works, and land plots facing difficulties. To date, 670 projects, equivalent to 80%, have been resolved or have a plan for resolution, with a total investment of over 569 trillion VND. Specifically, for projects under the central government's jurisdiction, 31 out of 60 projects have had their issues resolved this year.

In order to help the city resolve outstanding projects, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh noted that Ho Chi Minh City needs to seriously learn from experience and promptly and fully update information on projects facing difficulties, obstacles, and long-standing delays in order to report to the Steering Committee.

The process of resolving difficulties must continue in a proactive and positive manner, but without legitimizing violations. In addition, the Government leaders also requested Ho Chi Minh City to focus on the biggest goal: bringing projects into reality to improve people's lives, especially flood control and urban beautification projects.
