The competition had the participation of 8 teams from high schools: An Khanh, Phan Ngoc Hien, Bui Huu Nghia, Nguyen Viet Dung, Chau Van Liem, Tran Dai Nghia, Nguyen Viet Hong and Binh Thuy. The organization's funding was supported by the Tobacco Harm Prevention Fund ( Ministry of Health ).
The teams went through 3 rounds: Self-introduction, Knowledge and Drama.
In the Self-Introduction round (maximum 7 minutes, 20 points), teams create many forms such as short skits, narratives combined with illustrations, background music... to convey the message "Say no to cigarettes in schools". The judges score based on creativity, attractiveness, ability to convey the message and the level of investment in costumes and props.
The Knowledge section (maximum 20 points) focuses on the contents of the Law on Prevention and Control of Tobacco Harms, identifying new types of tobacco and the harmful effects of passive smoking. Many situational questions are given to help students apply their knowledge to practice.
The Dramatization round with the highest score (maximum 60 points, no more than 10 minutes) was the highlight of the contest. The teams performed skits reflecting the reality of students being enticed to use electronic cigarettes, thereby sending a strong message about living a healthy and responsible life.
