Legal propaganda for students in border areas

HNN.VN - On November 10, the Hong Van Border Guard Station (stationed in A Luoi 1 commune) organized a legal propaganda session for nearly 500 students in the border area and awarded scholarships and gifts to students who have overcome difficulties, worth nearly 20 million VND.

Accordingly, the unit awarded 8 scholarships, 30 pairs of sports shoes and 300 notebooks to disadvantaged students who strive to excel in their studies. Lieutenant Colonel Ho Van Viet, Political Commissar of the Hue City Border Guard, said: In response to Vietnam Law Day, units on the two border lines simultaneously organized legal propaganda for students in the border area to raise awareness and the meaning of respecting the law among local people, especially young people; contributing to reducing violations and crimes, especially serious cases; building units, schools and localities with strong security and order, promoting socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security in border areas.

During the propaganda process, many units coordinated with the school to organize booths to display and exhibit law books; award scholarships, gifts, and school supplies to encourage and motivate students to continue to strive.
