Voters of Dien Hong and Pleiku wards petitioned many issues related to urban areas.

(GLO)- On the afternoon of November 10, at Hall 19-5 (Dien Hong ward), the Delegation of the People's Council of Gia Lai province, term XII, 2021-2026, had a meeting with nearly 300 voters of Dien Hong and Pleiku wards before the regular meeting at the end of 2025.

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Vu Tien Anh - Chief of Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council; Vu Thi Thu - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Y Khum - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the An Phu Ward Party Committee.

Attending the conference were representatives of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Hong and Pleiku wards; representatives of departments, branches, residential groups and nearly 300 voters in Dien Hong and Pleiku wards.

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council delegates reported on the results of the Provincial People's Council's activities, expected content and program of the regular session at the end of 2025.

At the meeting, there were 18 opinions from voters recommending that all levels and sectors speed up the progress of urban beautification, upgrade degraded roads, strengthen land management and construction order, renovate sidewalks to ensure urban aesthetics, plan to expand roads for people to travel, strictly manage public land to prevent people from encroaching and the project to deploy Hoi Phu stream urban area.

Voters also recommended that the issuance of land use right certificates and death certificate procedures should be quicker.

Some opinions also suggested paying attention to environmental sanitation, garbage and wastewater collection; strengthening security, order and social safety, contributing to building the two wards to be increasingly spacious and civilized.

At the meeting, representatives of the People's Committees of wards and specialized agencies directly explained and clarified a number of contents under their authority, and affirmed that they would consider and coordinate to handle issues reflected by voters.

Faced with difficulties in implementing a two-level local government after operation, we hope voters will share with officials and civil servants.

With legitimate recommendations, the Provincial People's Council delegates will receive and send them to relevant departments and branches to respond to voters as soon as possible.

The meeting took place in a democratic and open atmosphere, demonstrating the sense of responsibility of elected representatives and the consensus and trust of voters.
