(Dan Tri) - After entering the East Sea, typhoon Phuong Hoang will move slowly. Around the evening of November 12, the storm will affect Taiwan and then continue to weaken.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that at 7 p.m. on November 10, storm Fung - Wong (Vietnamese name is Phuong Hoang - storm number 14) was at level 13 (134-149 km/h), gusting to level 16 in the eastern sea area of ​​the North East Sea. The storm moved in a northwest direction at a speed of about 10 km/h.

It is forecasted that at around 7 p.m. on November 11, the storm will maintain its intensity of level 13, gusting to level 16 in the eastern sea area of ​​the North East Sea. By 7 p.m. on November 12, the storm will change direction to the North-Northeast and weaken to level 9, gusting to level 13 in the southwestern area of ​​Taiwan.

According to forecasts, the storm then changed direction to the Northeast and at about 7:00 p.m. on November 13, the storm weakened into a tropical depression in the sea northeast of Taiwan.

Due to the influence of the storm, the eastern sea area of ​​the North East Sea has strong winds of level 8-10, the area near the storm's eye has strong winds of level 11-13, gusts of level 16, waves 5-8m high, the area near the storm's eye has waves 8-10m high, and the sea is very rough.

All vessels operating in the above mentioned danger zones are susceptible to the effects of storms, whirlwinds, strong winds and large waves.

The Meteorological and Hydrological Agency said that on the night of November 10 and on November 11, the Northern region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places. On the night of November 11 and on November 12, the Northern region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with sunny weather in the afternoon.

According to the forecast, the North Central region will have some rain in the next two days. Other areas will have sunny days, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and at night.

The Hydrometeorological Agency said that around the night of November 12-13, the Northern region, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An are likely to receive a cold air mass, with rain in some places and the possibility of cold weather at night and in the morning.
